Apartment

I remember the last time when I lived in an apartment. I still, for example, remember my neighbors. Probably one of the reasons I might prefer to live in a house after all is that I rarely hear my neighbors when I am in my house. How is it with Wilmington NC apartments? Do you think it is possible to live in an apartment and not hear your neighbors at all? I have heard all kinds of stories from people who live in one of them. I think that some of them were exaggerated. Living in an apartment cannot be as horrible unless you really have a bad luck.
