Close Protection

What can one do in order to become a close protection officer? Is it a hard job to get? I heard somewhere that it might be difficult for women to qualify, but men should not have problems with it. If somebody wants to become a close protection officer, it might be smart for him to attend close protection courses first before applying for the position. Maybe if you have better qualifications you are going to impress your future employer. I will take some time this evening to read more about the topic. I also wonder if I am going to qualify and become a close protection officer. Maybe I have what it takes to become one if I want to.
