Is Saving the Planet Possible

I sometimes wonder what the future is going to bring. I also sometimes wonder how the world is going to look like in 15, 20, or 50 years. If I live long enough to see those days, I expect to see a lot more people living on our Planet. More people means more food, more waste, and less water. One way to save the Planet is to recycle various things. By this I mean electronics recycling among other things. While I am an optimist, I sometimes wonder if saving the Planet is even possible. Will things get better with time or are they only getting worse? This is the question I have been asking myself for a long time.
